Daddy dearest

These are the most gorgeous photos of my Dad's graduation. Isn't he handsome? He was very naughty (still is:) and you can see the look in his eyes when he's smiling!

I used die-cut paper and trimmed the inside with my craft knife - to essentially create a frame and a die-cut piece of striped paper. Distressing the stripe paper gives a lovely look and adding antique book pages behind creates a stunning 3D effect.

A few rub-ons and swirls and a hand stitched circle finishes of the LO beautifully and I just love the brown, green and blue colour combination with just a splash of orange! Some faux stitching around the outside edge just pulls the LO together.

Have fun scrapping your antique photos (guess my dad is getting antique:)
